Terms of Service

By accessing or using Caliche (operated by Be Free Digital LLC, "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. We may update these terms at any time; continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.

Caliche is a construction bid estimation platform that provides Low / Mid / High price benchmarks calibrated against real contractor bid data for the Houston, Texas metropolitan area. The platform includes bid schedule analysis, market pricing, bid board access, win/loss tracking, and Excel export features depending on your subscription tier.

Caliche is a decision-support tool. All estimates are benchmarks based on historical data and should not be treated as guarantees of actual project costs. You are solely responsible for the bids you submit.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials.
• One account per individual or organization. Sharing credentials is not permitted.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Caliche offers monthly subscriptions (Starter, Professional, Enterprise) and pay-per-bid credits. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and auto-renew until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the current billing period with no proration.

Pay-per-bid credits are non-refundable once a bid has been priced. If there is a service error that prevents delivery of a priced output, we will issue a credit to your account.

Prices may change on 30 days' written notice to the email on file.

You agree not to: reverse-engineer the platform, scrape or bulk-download pricing data, share your account or subscription access, use the platform for any illegal purpose, or attempt to circumvent usage limits. We reserve the right to terminate any account for abuse.

All software, pricing models, data compilations, and platform content are owned by Be Free Digital LLC. Your uploaded bid schedules remain your property. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process and return pricing output to you. We do not sell or share your uploaded data with third parties.

The platform and all estimates are provided "as is." We make no warranty that estimates are accurate, complete, or fit for any particular bidding purpose. Market pricing reflects historical bid data and may not reflect current market conditions. Use all outputs at your own professional discretion.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Be Free Digital LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including lost profits or lost bids. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
